Been using the app Daily Bean as my everyday mood tracker/micro blog, but I'm contemplating on eventually switching to the Midori 5-Year Diary. I like the idea of being able to look back on the same day of the previous years--all on the same page. Thinking of making the switch next year...
Is anyone using it? How's your experience? And is it really FP-friendly?
The Good Man of Nanking is a crucial document for understanding one of World War II's most horrific incidents of genocide, one which the Japanese have steadfastly refused to acknowledge. It is also the moving and awe-inspiring record of one man's conscience, courage, and generosity in the face of appalling human brutality.
9 best iPhone Journal app alternatives for Android: Do you want to use them though?
Yes, Android certainly has some excellent journalling apps too. But before jumping in and using them, you may want to consider why you are doing a journal…
Quite often, the content created stays within that app. If you switch apps or phones later on, will ...continues
“I’ve been trying cases 40 years”, said attorney Stanley Cohen, who is representing one of the 61 defendants. “The general policy is if you’re making an application for admission of evidence, you do it … without it being released first to the public marketplace of ideas.”
They ask the strangest things on r/Journaling sometimes. Usually it starts with "Can I (do this)?" or "Is it OK if I (do this)?"
Dudes, it's your freaking journal. You can journal about your poo if you like. (just don't share it on social media please??)
Maybe I am an old GenX person but I find these requests super weird. Like who cares if you are doing it wrong? I once had someone tell me I was doing bullet journal wrong and I told her to eff off 😂 #diary#journal#Journaling
#Introduction
Although I prefer journaling by hand, I have to admit that digital journaling is far more practical, safer and more secure, and I've been journaling so much more.
Saw a YouTube video with the title "My no nonsense journal".
Video was about her decorating said #journal & showing off her expensive pens. If that's no nonsense I am a :dancing_panda: People r showing off their pretty #diary entries on #SocialMedia.
Am so annoyed by this - like it's some kind of popularity contest.
I get that it can be a creative outlet but omg why r we making something healing so competitive and performative??? #Journaling shouldnt come with such pressure
"The city has become a wasteland of rubble and debris. Beautiful buildings fall like columns of smoke. I often think about the time I was shot as a kid, during the first #intifada, and how my mother told me I actually died for a few minutes before being brought back to life. Maybe I can do the same this time, I think."

"I asked Yasser [15 yr old son] to stay in his grandparents’ house. The #Palestinian logic is that in wartime, we should all sleep in different places, so that if part of the #family is killed, another part lives.
"There is no sign of this war ending. No one in power speaks of a cease-fire. On the news, there’s discussion of a few hours’ truce for humanitarian purposes, to let in a little #food and #medicine.
I find it unbearable to listen to the way they talk about us, decide things for us, without ever asking any of us."
