St. Peter’s Church, or Alter Peter, in Munich is the tallest building in the vicinity. Local regulations prohibited building taller buildings except for a few years a while back when ugly glass office blocks were built a few kilometres away. That’s the Frauenkirche, a large gothic church in the middle distance.
Beware, it takes 4 minutes to walk down. I didn’t record how long to get up. My legs were like jelly afterwards!
The French parliament voted unanimously to ask the EU to designate Prigozhin's #Wagner group a terrorist organization. The UK reportedly prepares a similar designation. Lithuania and Estonia have already declared them a terrorist group. Despite countless documented war crimes by Wagner in #Ukraine and multiple African countries, the government in #Germany continues to block an EU-wide designation.
As any #CallOfCthulhu veteran knows, old books you've inherited bring nothing but trouble.
You should keep them under lock and key - or perhaps even burn them, just to be safe.
Beginning on 10th May 1933, Nazi-dominated student groups carried out public burnings of books they claimed were “un-German.” The book burnings took place in 34 university towns and cities. Works of prominent Jewish, liberal, and leftist writers ended up in the bonfires.
China and Germany traded barbs Tuesday over Ukraine, with Beijing warning the EU against sanctions targeting its companies while Berlin said "neutrality" in the conflict meant taking Russia's side.

Years behind the USA (as with everything) the drag reading culture war has arrived in #Germany.
I don’t really pretend to understand it. If somebody in drag would read to my children, I would be fine with it (seriously don’t give a shit) but I don’t feel it’s super necessary either.
Also the kids here who need reading to the most would be least served by this.
For € 49, "The “#Deutschlandticket” offers unlimited access to #Germany’s #bus and metro systems, as well as local and regional #trains – with only long-distance high-speed services not included.
Interest in the pass was understandably great, with 52 million people signing up for the offer. But operators struggled to manage the stampede."
Build It And They Will Ride, international #train travel edition:

Almost nine out of 10 travellers between Stuttgart and Paris take the train and not the plane."
