Apparently #paramountPlus decided to cancel Star Trek: Lower Decks, ending with the 5th season.
It's bad enough "seasons" these days are an anemic 10 episodes (if that!), and then they get cancelled while still going strong? ugh..
I’m not a fan of musicals and I was fully expecting to hate this but, dammit, it worked… 🖖☺️

Paramount+ has renewed "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" for a fourth season, way ahead of the third season's 2025 debut. In addition, "Star Trek: Lower Decks" will end after its upcoming 5th season this Fall. Star Trek: Discovery started 6 years ago today on CBS (and then CBS All Access, which became Paramount+), initiating a revival of the Trek franchise on the small screen (Short Treks, Picard, Lower Decks, Prodigy, Strange New Worlds, very Short treks, and the upcoming Starfleet Academy & Section 31).
The fifth and final season will be broadcast in early 2024.
Trying #paramountplus in #japan. Sadly they decided to launch with local companies, so even before I started I had low expectations. This is what I found:

Subs are burn in, no way to remove.

Low quality, no 4k, no DV.
Other content older.
So, worse than expected. I'll try again in a year I guess.
