My husband has now got hundreds of shots to go through. It was tricky today as waiting for the light to hit #theNeedles and some yachts to be in a pleasing position took a great deal of time. This particular group (I don't know anything about sailing, so apologies to those that do) caught my husband's attention because of the red jackets of the crew, giving a small splash of colour to the image.
A friend of mine has been #sailing across the Pacific in a small boat. He arrived at the Marquesas. Frankly, it seemed like a really boring trip. Not for me.
Looking for anyone who's been a passenger on a tall ship (any sailing ship with at least two square-rigged masts) to answer a basic question about the experience for #writing and #worldbuilding purposes.
I'm very curious exactly what makes these boats anchored "illegally". As far as I can tell, the main issue is that they are anchored directly off shore of a golf course. Anchored while ugly. What a heinous crime - it must be stopped immediately!
I've modified my sailboat trailer to connect our tag-along/tow-behind kids trailer.
It connects much more easily than the old hitch and isn't damaging my rear rack anymore. It's honestly amazing that we happened to have a bike trailer that we weren't using anymore that fit almost perfectly into the trailer frame.
Two days ago my wife put this right in front of me. It means it‘s time for the traditional gingerbread sail. The signals for the end of the #sailing season are getting stronger…
Didn't get enough sleep to do coding, so I'm switching #gamedev hats and started working on some art using #blender3d, just to see how long it will take me. Here's a #sailing ship, a carrack to be precise, made in about 2 hours.
