It’s well known that over the past couple of decades, at least, women have been attending college in greater numbers than men. It’s also well known that they outperform men academically over the same time frame as well.

Many of these women are studying subjects that have been neglected by men since Galileo. And they’re making amazing discoveries.

Ladies and mysoginists, the new science will be dominated by women. New frontiers will be explored, and old frontiers will be tested by intellects alien to “man”kind.

I’m fucking here for it.

We're not, I know, living on a timeline where science actually matters, but I gotta say this anyway.

Every serious study of the economic impact of immigration has the same conclusion: "immigration has a net-positive effect on the economy". Most of them go further than that, citing non-economic positive effects.

Leaving one's homeland is just not a thing stupid, lazy, cowardly, or ignorant people do.

The "border crisis" has a shorter name. That name is "racism".

A doorstep protest at least lets a chink of light in the dark.

@xs4me2 Oh good - now that piracy is legalised by the I look forward to China learning the “ways of the west”, and simply grabbing all US/EU owned companies and their assets located in China. Perhaps other countries could join in - after all, those 800 overseas US military bases would be a good source of free weaponry.

Hamas for years was the main, if not only, source of health care, education & welfare in Gaza, while the only alternative (Fatah) was seen as a party of corrupt kapos. And at present it is NOT Hamas that is fighting - it is al-Qassam, the military wing associated with the political party. A distinction a lot like Sinn Fein and the IRA in the days of the Troubles.

    This "arrest form" speaks for itself, but for those who don't read - the Israeli police is still tracking and profiling individuals, checked in the form for "sexual deviations".

    This forgotten practice (possibly illegal) is still occurring in Israel in 2024, a country often touted by pro-Israel advocates as the only safe haven for LGBTQ people in the Middle East.

    Considering 's incessant propaganda on LGBTQ rights (both state but often citizens on social media etc.) versus the ongoing surveillance of the LGBTQ community, the hypocrisy is glaring.

    The Israeli Police stated in response: "These are parameters that in the past were required for the optimal protection of detainees and prevention of harm to them during their detention. Following your inquiry, the matter was brought for thorough discussion at the end of which it was decided to remove the parameter from the existing structured form, and we emphasize that this was not information that was stored. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and regret any hurt caused to the feelings of those involved, if there was any."
