Then I “recovered” except for low fever, fatigue, body aches…

I worked—& crashed, barely able to get out of bed, rested days/weeks, felt better, went back to work—crashed. That’s the cycle

I set activity limits, cut them back & back…

Today if I walk >400 steps, stand >2 min, sit up >2h, or have >10 min heart rate >85bpm … I crash

Re anything #Meta does, I do not assume good faith or benign self-interest. Based on their history, horrific even for an edgelord megacorporation (see Myanmar, Cambridge Analytica…), it’s quite reasonable to expect exploitation, manipulation, deception, et merde in anything they do.

Simply in terms of moderation, the #Threads “instance” would be defederated by most fedi admins for hate speech & harassment, were it not the 800-pound gorilla it is.

So I blocked the entire threads.net domain.

The discussion:
if the US and Russia share a border, why does it take 19 hours to fly from Alaska to Moscow?? What are they hiding???
