It gets lumped in with the other religions for reasons which are not surprising, and hence suffers the contempt that modern educated Westerners have for religion. The Mahayana concerns itself with direct examination of the nature of mind, a project that resembles science more than it does a system of beliefs. But outside looking in you have monks with rosaries reciting prayers so: religion.

Thank you for making "Everything" the default view in notifications. I think there should be a third option, "Follows" so I don't have to go scrolling to see if anyone has followed me. Anyway, this and the web client are now consistent with each other.

There should be a standard for digital image formats that includes an AltText field that you could set once and then where ever that image appears online the AltText is automatically made available to screen readers and curious people. Set it and forget it kind of a thing.

Exif already has an ImageDescription tag that could serve this purpose. I edit most my stuff in Gimp and it would be nice to compose that text while I am most involved in thinking about the image.
