Just as SCOTUS expidited oral arguments for the appeal of the Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling removing the former president from the Colorado ballot, they can and likely would expedite oral arguments for this, IF they grant cert and that is far from certain.

I got some troll today complaining today that Biden and Trump are indistinguishable, now because of age. Is that the talking point now? Interesting.

I’m also really tired of talking about this as a Republican/MAGA problem. It’s also a batshit stupid Americans problem. I just talked to two college-educated neighbors, fundamentally progressive, and quite well off, who aren’t going to vote because “both sides say the same kinds of BS.” Argh!

This is an intentional result of decades of Republican politics and propaganda.

They routinely f*ck up government and generate reporting about government dysfunction that isn't government dysfunction but Republican sabotage of government.

Every politician is a crook they say, when the great majority of the crooks are Republicans.

If he loses his appeals (pretty likely) the escrowed money is transferred to the plaintiff.

    1. This theocratic ruling was only possible because the not quite so unabashedly theocratic judges on SCOTUS allowed it by overturning Roe.
    2. Remember Thomas' concurrence in Dobbs where he explicitly says they will be coming for Obergefell, Griswold and Lawrence?
