I've only just got back in the studio for the new calendar year, and there's already yet another online mob forming against freedom of expression, this time targeting SubStack. I agree with ;

"Substack shouldn’t decide what we read.

We should."

https://www.elysian.press/p/substack-writers-for-community-moderation

The SubStack founders agree, and that's why I have the new Disintermedia and BridgeSeat.nz newsletters hosted there.

Featured Story: Timothy Murray, the 11-year-old honor student who spent 3 days in solitary after his arrest at the orders of the principal, is still awaiting hearing to determine whether charges proceed against him. https://www.texasobserver.org/why-was-this-11-year-old-honor-roll-student-put-in-solitary/
(Correction: Timothy's hearing is December 13, not November 13 as originally reported. We apologize for the error. We will continue to investigate this troubling story.)

I find it both hilarious & shitty that the only question any councillor had when seeing my multiple vids of their was - How many people have seen these videos?

That confirms for me, my family & friends here that their council doesn't give a shit about their cops violating our but they're concerned about 👎

Bunch of weak wankerdoodles in public office 🤡🤑😡

The correct term is “forced-birth extremists”.

Not “pro-life”, not “anti-choice”, not “pro-birth”.

FORCED-BIRTH EXTREMISTS.

Today is the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights!

Adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 10th December 1948, the declaration was a response to Nazi atrocities and presents the foundational principles for human rights across the world.

Never has it been more important to remind ourselves of their existence and validity.

I invite you to read and share them today! A brief 🧵 1/n

THREAD: This thread discusses the December 2020 forced expulsion of people inhabiting farming communities in a disputed border area claimed by both Ethiopia 🇪🇹 and Sudan🇸🇩. data appears to suggest that Sudanese troops may have carried out atrocities when it removed hundreds if not thousands of Ethiopians from the Al Fashaga triangle. Nobody has properly documented the expulsions and there's not enough evidence to draw conclusions.
