"Omg... Joe Biden is the 1st President posting in the Fediverse"
No, Joe Biden is using mainstream social media, owned by Meta (Facebook), which most of the Fediverse blocked a while back. If POTUS (President of the United States) wants to join the Fediverse correctly and hold that claim, they need to join a true Fediverse instance such as Misskey, Sharkey, Mastodon, or something else not government a large corporation which avoid paying taxes.
While we have threads.net limited here because of the expectation of poor moderation, his account, as well as a number of others, have been exempted from limiting and can be followed in hear-me.social the same as any Mastodon account.
Remember, though, the feature is in beta. It's one way. You can read posts from #Threads accounts, but those accounts cannot yet see replies, nor can they see who favorited or boosted their posts.

#POTUS#Biden spoke w/Andrés about the incident that resulted in the workers' deaths, which #NationalSecurity spox #Kirby said provoked outrage in the admin.
After top Putin allies used their US company to get Mike Johnson elected to US congress, Johnson's campaign avoided punishment by merely giving the money back after he was elected. Now, Johnson has paralyzed the US government and "has no bank account."
Please call (202) 224-3121 for the U.S. House switchboard operator, ask for Mike Johnson or your Rep. 🫡 💪 🇺🇦
Friends I have absolutely had enough of the far-left Pro-Gaza Protesters that is masquerading as pro-Palestinians activist who continue to follow the #President of the United States across the country just to scream lie disrespect and attack his character and encouraging voters not to vote, HOW DARE YOU" My family here in the US are Even more important then the narrative you're selling about the Palestinian ppl when it's just a movement to hurt Biden and elect Trump. these groups are frauds #FP
@TruthSandwich@futurebird Thank you, that's very powerful, a perfect definition it's a challenging situation that has been deteriorating way before the October 7 2023 attack And to exploit it for personal gain against the pro-democracy #POTUS and his party has crossed the line & pushing back against it, When DEI is under attacks HBCU voting rights black women and more So just too be clear, the far-left must be defeated and Nowhere near power.
During the historic gathering of 3 #UnitedStates presidents last night, pro- #Palestinian protesters interrupted the event. Again, instead of ignoring their protestations, the presidents addressed the concerns.
All 3 men remarked on the #Israel#Hamas#war in #Gaza, reflecting on the difficulty of trying to solve intractable challenges such as #MiddleEast#peace as #POTUS. #Biden said there have been “too many innocent victims, Israeli & Palestinian,” in the conflict.
#Obama said #Biden faces a heart-wrenching crisis that is more complex than many want to acknowledge. “I think people understandably oftentimes want to feel a certain surety in terms of how those decisions are made,” Obama said. “But a president doesn’t have that luxury.”
#Obama addressed a protester when he was interrupted by saying, "You can’t just talk & not listen."
"That’s part of #democracy," he added. "Part of democracy is not just talking. It’s listening. That’s what the other side does, & it is important for us to understand that it is possible to have moral clarity & have deeply held beliefs but still recognize that the world is complicated & it is hard to solve these problems."
#POTUS Joe Biden said on Fri the US will impose costs for Russia's "appalling attempts" to use Americans as bargaining chips in a stmnt to mark the 1-yr anniversary of WSJ reporter Gershkovich's arrest in Russia.
Gershkovich, 32, was the 1st US #journalist arrested on spying charges in Russia since the #ColdWar when he was detained by the #FSB on Mar 29 last yr.
During #Biden’s speech on #healthcare yesterday he was interrupted by protesters advocating for #Palestinians in #Gaza. Instead of ignoring them & moving on, #POTUS responded, “They have a point; we need to get more care into Gaza.” He added, “Everybody deserves healthcare.”
Today In Labor History March 27, 1866: President of the United States of America Andrew Johnson vetoed the Civil Rights Act of 1866. However, Congress overrode his veto and passed the bill, the first time this had occurred over any major legislation. The bill was the first in the U.S. to define citizenship, and to affirm equal rights under the law for all citizens, including African Americans. Johnson’s rationale for the veto was that the law “discriminated” against whites in favor of blacks.
