Musk has posted about Biden ≥7X a month since Jan, attacking the president for everything from his age to his policies on immigration & health. Before that, he posted about Biden twice in Dec & not at all in Nov. In all, #Musk had posted nearly 40X about Biden this year, compared w/about 30X for all of last year.
The #DOJ policy statement on when officers can use #LethalForce —misrepresented by Trump & his supporters as proof of an assassination plot at #MarALago —was also in the paperwork for the consensual search the #FBI conducted of #POTUS Biden’s Wilmington home, looking for #ClassifiedDocuments.
A Tues evening fundraising email from #Trump’s campaign &signed in his name arrived w/the subj, "They were authorized to shoot me!" & said of the #Biden admin, "You know they’re just itching to do the unthinkable ... Joe Biden was locked & loaded ready to take me out & put my family in danger."
Trump also wrote on TruthSocial:
"Joe Biden's DOJ, in their Illegal & UnConstitutional Raid of Mar-a-Lago, AUTHORIZED THE FBI TO USE DEADLY (LETHAL) FORCE."
One page in the document includes a “policy statement” on the use of deadly force, which says officers may resort to lethal force only when the subject of such force poses an “imminent danger of death or serious physical injury” to an officer or another person.
#Trump has a huge posse today, including #KashPatel; #GerryKassar, a #conservative party leader in NY; #BernieKerik, fmr NYPD commissioner who was imprisoned for tax fraud & false statements; #AlanDershowitz, lawyer who defended Trump during his first impeachment, & #BorisEpshteyn, legal adviser who was #indicted in AZ for attempts to keep Trump in power after the 2020 election.
Aside: #Trump just sent out a fundraising appeal falsely claiming he “could even be thrown into PRISON FOR LIFE!” if the jury in this case returns a guilty verdict.

He actually faces a maximum of 4 years in prison, or probation.
The prosecution asks that the defense be precluded from asking #StormyDaniels whether she was arrested. Justice #Merchan agrees w/the prosecutors, saying that “anybody can be arrested” & that it “doesn’t prove anything.”
