I did not expect Darth Vader to show up. But I am so happy that he did. The game really made his power felt. Vader was a powerful and fear inducing. Scott Lawrence does a great job with voicing Vader.
The whole cast is great in the game. The cutscenes were top notch and the story engrossing.
I played this game over three years over four consoles… Xbox One S & X, Xbox Series S & X.
So, my weekend gaming endeavors did not go in the direction I expected them to.
I spent Friday night playing Wolfenstein 3D because fuck Nazis.
Yesterday I played a bunch of Dead Cells. It's a game I've dabbled with, but I found out there was a female outfit you could get, and that little goal kept me going.
And the flavour for today seems to be Darksiders. I've got 1 through 3 but never really got far into them. I love the concept of the gameplay and the world, but just kept getting distracted.
Hot take? Darksiders > God Of War.
Main reason: I really fucking hate that toxic asshole Kratos.
Second Reason: I really fucking love the whole horsemen of the apocalypse aesthetic meets quasi Zelda gameplay.
Still playing thru #ACOdyssey for the 7th time and the modern protagonists are really a take on the "We built the death ray from the movie 'don't ever build the death ray", aren't they?
Like you spend a good part of the game locking away Atlantis for ever, and the first thing Layla Hassan does is "WE GOTTA UNLOCK ATLANTIS! WEEE!"
