Ok. Have now recovered. The lesson in this is: with very low turnout, very close results, and all three progressive parties standing against each other, #Tories can still win seats. (If those 893 #Green had gone to #Labour, Tories would have lost).

I was slightly surprised to hear Theresa May (one of several former failed Prime Ministers south of the border) has decided to step down at the next election.
Aside from the fact she cannot possibly go any further down than she already is, thanks to her political insignificance now, I thought she had already slunk off.
The UK is not suffering wage-price spiral #inflation, it is experiencing the continued impoverishment of anyone outside the #financialservices sector;
the UK's rentier #capitalism continues to be a machine to enrich one (small) segment of society through #wagetheft on a societal scale.... this is the system the #Tories have engineered whatever their rhetoric.
In others words; this is what you get when #bankers run your economy in their own interests!
