Premier Scott Moe's Party MLA, Gary Grewal, will not be seeking re-election.

Mr. Grewal, who represents Northeast, is embroiled in controversy after it was revealed he collected $384K after hotels he owns boosted rates when the Ministry of Social Services books clients at those locations.

That's 11 sitting Sask Party MLAs who have announced they will not run again.

A shot of light in the dark:

The abhorrent policy that forces teachers to out their LGBTQ2SIA+ kids in , , , and is being challenged in and the first hearing is September 19th @ 10am, this is the fastest I have ever witnessed the courts move. Technically speaking the ruling isn’t binding but it is persuasive, the policy is blatantly unconstitutional & as soon as it falls in one province, it should fall in others.

If your path to political success is to destroy youth, you’re not a successful politician, you are a professional bully and should be shamed in the streets by decent people.

cazabon,

Is this unusual for Lake Winnipeg? It's pretty , and shallow get warm, which leads to and related blooms.

Around , Buffalo Pound Lake famously gets huge blooms every year, and has for at least 40 years, maybe longer. Lake, in the city, does too, although not as bad since they dug it deeper a few years ago, so it doesn't get as warm.

It just seems "normal", not a big newsworthy event?

The for dogs/animals is good, though.

We received our new this week, for the City of 's new program. Hey, only 20 years behind the small town my parents lived in back then, not too bad.

Also with the bin, you get a plastic bucket with a tight-fitting lid and a handle, to use in your house for , so you can "save up" scraps and not have to run out to the bin after every meal prep etc.

So far, not so bad.
