Yes, thank you, there seems to be a perennial need for my article on what makes real haiku in languages other than Japanese: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/323187189_Internationalizing_the_Essence_of_Haiku_Poetry

However, far more important than the number of syllables is how deep meaning is conveyed. While changes in nature can serendipitously reflect changes in oneself, does the heavy lifting in .

Believe In Americanity

I believe in Americanity,
sacred religion of democracy

Last night I had a dream where I fell into some water and then looked down at my watch to see that all the numbers and hands had been washed away and it looked like this. Still trying to figure out what my brain was trying to tell me.

Weird Religious Cult

across the wilderness of windy hope
lifts up their eyes to know the world is wide

"My Rebirth"

I saw the light one early morning
When suddenly, and without warning,
I pushed right through the greenery.
Then blinded by the scenery,
The sunshine and the bright blue sky,
I hid my unaccustomed eye
And, holding up my hand as shield,
Emerged from Forest into Field.

Anyone have any insight into why this church has what looks like a Magen David with fire in it, suspended over a sea of flames, on their stained glass window?

Apologies for the poor quality photo. I could be seeing things wrong. One panel looks like tnt and a knife, and another looks like an angelic poodle with the grim reaper behind it. 🤔 I know that’s not right.

I believe it is a Lutheran church.
