JN.1.11 has totally fizzled out (that's the difference between how it looks in a lab compared to actual infectivity) but there is a new variant that is being VERY closely scoured for by geneticists: JN.1.23 (that's JN One Dot Twenty-Three.)
This variant has an absolutely astounding ACE2Binding ability (which means it's easier to "stick" to lungs) + very good escape rate (which means it looks different than anything else before it and the body isn't sure how to react to it).: https://ibb.co/B45zX5B

This also has so much binding ability, it has the most potential to even "spend" some of its infectivity on other mutations that will benefit its children, sacrificing it for more severity or more innate infectivity....which would be very bad.

Well folks here I am in a post surgery ward at UW Northwest, Seattle, where everyone is supposed to be masked. Nurses have left my door open “for safety.” And, you guessed it, visitors are walking up and down the hallway, unmasked.
I masked as soon as I came out of the anesthesia after major surgery. I’m in a lot of pain but can still mask like a boss.

Was just in a Lee Valley store in Halifax where one employee was the only one wearing a mask. A decent one, too. We chose to be served by him. I thanked him for wearing it, and he replied, "It's the sensible thing to do. " We agreed and said that we still haven't had covid. He said he hasn't either. I wonder why? Ha!

Reactivated TB is a Bellweather for Covid's Immune Harm
People have fervently denied Covid harms immunity beyond the extent of what a common cold may do. They conveniently ignore mountains of evidence of viral reactivation in the acute phase, greater risk of Herpes reactivation, and some, scoff at the heightened risk of reactivated TB.
My last day at work has been scheduled. In just 3 shifts, my 25 year career in #proAudio comes to a screeching halt while I enter the terrifying world of #disabilityInsurance.
All this because I caught #covid19, once, at work, in June 2022, despite having 4 vaccines.
The first 12 weeks were bad. Then I got a little worse each week. My weight tanked. I am 6' 3 and was a little over 200lbs (my normal weight). A year and a half later, I presently weigh 145 and dropping.
I was diagnosed with #meCFS, #PEM, #POTS, and am still having tests (CT, gastroscopy, biopsy) done on my GI.
#LongCovid is very real, and has robbed me of the luxury of clear though, easy movement, and a "normal" life.
