I really loved @FixedFun 's idea for the kbin mascot, so I decided to refine it a bit and make some color alternatives. All credit to them for this wonderful idea! I merely refined it. Note, the circles beside the logo are just a color pallete swatch, not actually meant to be apart of the logo....
I created a #logo for arabi.gay! It's the same #mastodon logo, but I rotated the m on it's side and edited it to make the letter ع for عربي (arabi), and added the #rainbow. The background bubble-elephant-thing kinda looks like the letter م, so that almost completes the #Arabic acronym for LGBT (م.ع.). #wardiPublicPost

Fun fact : il y a presque 10 ans maintenant j'avais fait un logo d'une appli pour un client (appli qui sera jamais utilisée). C'était un concept à la con et ils avaient rien, ni nom, ni logo, du coup j'ai cherché un équivalent à "Tweet" pour les oiseaux mais pour d'autres animaux
Et j'ai trouvé "Jabote", du verbe Jaboter, c'est à dire le bruit que font les pingouins.

I know, it's been ages and ages. I've been super busy doing tons of stuff. Lately, I've been #traveling a lot and trying to get things done while I'm on the plane. I have a few places I chat at, so this one had to take a back seat for a long while. I'll try to say hi more frequently though. 🙃

Was working today on kind of an entry piece for Community Design Team: a logo and new mascot for #Bootc (special type of container).
His name is Bootseef and he's ready to fly through updates! 🚀🚀 Thanks to Madeline Peck and Design Team for the sketches, sources and color choices that inspired me. 👋 I enjoyed doing this particular mascot the most.
@fedora.design@peertube.linuxrocks.online and #CommunityDesignTeam have lots of work on their plate, so I invite aspiring and designers by trade to have a looksie-look in their GitLab issues. @fedora has engineering and other teams worth their gold, making software great, as well.

OC Here's my final idea for a Kbin mascot, I call it the "Kbird" (K = Kakatuá), since someone shared a Fediverse flag resembling a pirate flag I thought a bird mascot would fit.
OC Here's the nice Kbird with changes that people suggested, is OK if it isn't the mascot of Kbin but it will always live in our hearts, the real mascot was the friends we made along the way.
