You know when you have a video loop, but to make it loop something disappears in an improbable manner?
And you think, that's a shame, because I really like this little clip.
And you could crop it so, for example, a bird doesn't disappear in mid-flight, but then it looks unbalanced so you need to find some unobtrusive way for the bird to disappear so it appears natural?
I sorta want to make a 60fps version, maybe at half speed. But that would mean 4x the frames as this one, and I'm not ready to devote 6 hours of render time to this.
Animation is not something I've ever formally trained in, but I enjoy doing it. I just tend to get really caught up in the details of the curves, making sure everything looks just right. 😅
Created across many versions of Blender, but touched up and rendered in Blender 4.0, with Cycles. AgX is pretty nice!
A short video loop of a river flowing from right to left, with long reeds in the background. A large black water bird stands on a pole flapping its wings. Either side simple drawn figures also stand on poles, flapping their arms. Across the bottom it says "Unexpected way to spend your afternoon #372".
A loop patch for #orca, I just need to start it with some amount of flying operators and it will play itself forever, unless I block the path with something
I blew the dust off this model and threw it into Blender 4 for some turntable renders. I liked the original light purple backdrop, but it looks pretty good on red, in my opinion!
