With the impending doom of ICQ in June and the new crappy version of Teams coming in July, I would like to post this meme one final time

The Supreme Court's "code of ethics" has no enforcement mechanism and no way for the public to lodge complaints of misconduct.

SCOTUS Justices are being allowed to police themselves, which they've already proven they can't do.

Is it any wonder why Americans don't trust them?

Boosts welcome.

Hey, developers: The @reviewboard team's starting a new for devs to hang out, chat, and share what you're building.

https://discord.gg/saMCqHEZ

We have channels for , , / , , , and more.

You don't need to use or contribute to Review Board to hang out. (But you can follow development there, if you want.)

We hope to see people come in and hang out. The aim is a friendly, diverse community of devs.

Feel free to pass along the invite!

When I talk about digital privacy, there is always some smug genius who shrugs and tells me, "Who cares? We all know we don't have any privacy anyway." Nothing could be more wrong. Convincing you that the fight is already over to the way people in power get you to stop resisting.

Really close to the @reviewboard 7 launch.

Dark mode, image diffing/review in the diff viewer, mobile diff review, Microsoft Teams integration, and improved CI configuration are some of the improvements coming this month.

This is your regular reminder that most communications on Telegram are not end-to-end encrypted. Channels and groups are never end-to-end encrypted and 1-on-1 messages are only end-to-end when explicitly enabled.

Judge Cannon has postponed Trump's classified documents trial and didn't set a new start date.

The Supreme Court is slow walking Trump's classified documents case, which has delayed his Jan 6 trial.

The federal judiciary is effectively acting like a MAGA campaign arm.

It's starting to look like I will no longer be employed over the next couple of weeks. I would love to find something in WordPress, Linux, Open Source, Security, etc. Junior roles are okay. Like I mentioned a week or two back, I just want to get back into some work that makes me happy. My current role is stressful, pays terribly, and with the possibility of losing it over the next couple of weeks, my anxiety is going through the roof. Thanks for any help you give. ❤️

Nabisco shrank the family size box of Wheat Thins by 12%.

General Mills shrank the family size box of Cocoa Puffs by 6%.

Frito-Lay shrank the size of a bag of Doritos by 5%.

Reminder that Amazon and Space X are fighting in court to have the NLRB declared unconstitutional.

This means the two richest men on earth want to dismantle the government agency that holds them accountable for union busting.

Nothing terrifies them more than worker power.

How we beat back the corporate takeover of America:

  1. Break up corporate monopolies

  2. Continue building union power

  3. End Citizens United and get big money out of politics

Let’s keep working to unrig the system.

We've released version 0.81. This is a SECURITY UPDATE, fixing a in ECDSA signing for .

If you've used a 521-bit ECDSA key (ecdsa-sha2-nistp521) with any previous version of PuTTY, consider it compromised! Generate a new key pair, and remove the old public key from authorized_keys files.

Other key types are not affected, even other sizes of ECDSA. In particular, Ed25519 is fine.

This vulnerability has id CVE-2024-31497. Full information is at https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/wishlist/vuln-p521-bias.html
