Put them at the center of the narrative. Then explain how their actions will impact people they love and care for. Have patience. Lots of patience. Chip away at it. Prepare ahead of time for an opportunity. Do not speak to them like you do on social media. Address their concerns seriously.

I love going down my timeline and reviewing the posts that I have boosted and seeing how well they do. I really enjoy people having success on here. Such good stuff and so much of it. I give things a second look which I rarely did at the last place. While some corners do need building up content wise, nothing comes close to the fediverse for quality.
