OMG...
I never forget how much I begged to my parents to buy one for me back in early #1980s. It was one of the most preferred bikes for the 1970's - 1980's young generation. Used to envy my friends when I looked them driving a bike like this. Sweet memories! #Chopper#Bikes
I think that's so true: when you listen to certain record after how many years, memories comes back to revive in the mind and heart and may cause happiness or even sadness to you. At least it happens to me. #MusicLover#vinylrecords#Cassettes#CompactDiscs#1980s#1990s#2000s
Mark Watson was ten when the 1984 miners' strike took over his life.
Forty years on, he wants to know what really happened and how it changed his community - and this country. Tales of violence, desperation, and determination.
I can't honestly remember the first single or album I bought but this has to be in the reckoning. Operatic punk probably explains the eclectic taste in music I've grown up with ever since.

Despite how massive “She Drives Me Crazy” was (& still is), I feel that this is one of the great underrated ALBUMS of all time. A very artful record that has aged very well.
Better than a lot of the other pop that came out around that same time.
But let’s put that aside…
You NEVER hear Roland Gift’s name mentioned in regards to the great vocalists in history. Pop or not.
That’s insane. #vinyl#vinylrecords#80s#80smusic#1980s
In 1985, Madonna released "Material Girl" and "Into the Groove," played the title role in "Desperately Seeking Susan," toured North America (supported by the Beastie Boys) and performed at Live Aid. But writer and fan Justin Myers holds the year dear for another reason: his abiding love for "Dress You Up." For his Guyliner Substack, he reappraises the song, which was the final release from the "Like a Virgin" album, calling it, "a celebration of sex, itself dressed up as something else to both appease the censors calling her the devil incarnate and provoke them at the same time."
#NowWatching MILLI VANILLI [2023]
Even being a metalhead, there were some music that really blew my head off and one of them was Milli Vanilli and being just a teen boy who loved to dance, used to learn their steps. Loved their music !
Until scandal came... #MilliVanilli#1980s

All these years later… still a fun as hell #80s pop record.
One of my five or so preferred pop albums from that decade. “Space Age Love Song” is an incredible song, and it’s not even what this record is known for.
