One problem with leaving the birdsite is that I had built up a reasonable list of illustrators to follow there, and I really haven't here. But I bet they're around. If you're a or or , especially if you're interested in commissions from an author, give this post a like so I can check out your work. Or recommend me someone in the comments. Or boost this so more people see it. Or just tell me what good hashtags I should be following.

I refined FixedFun's mascot design for Kbin. Thoughts? Feedback? (More pics/alts in post!)

I really loved @FixedFun 's idea for the kbin mascot, so I decided to refine it a bit and make some color alternatives. All credit to them for this wonderful idea! I merely refined it. Note, the circles beside the logo are just a color pallete swatch, not actually meant to be apart of the logo....

A pink haired water nymph is emerging from the pond water and locking eyes with a nearby frog who's just chilling on a water lily leaf. The nymph has a water lily pad stuck to her hair, kind of like a beret, and she is smiling softly at the frog. her skin has a greenish tint with pink undertones around her nose and cheeks. The water of the pond is a deep blue-green.
A child is beckoning their giant friend to come out of the woods. The setting is apparently the countryside, as the scene takes place in a field near a forest. We can see a little house in the distance. The giant has a tiny smiling face and sheep-like horns on either side of his head, and seems to hesitate to come out of the brush. The child has long brown hair floating in the wind and dark skin, and wears a yellow t-shirt with brown shorts. The sky is cloudy, like before a summer thunder storm. The colors are mostly muted yellows and greens, with the sky being a very light blue above the grey clouds.
A child is fixing a giant fruit bat's torn up wing with colorful bandaids. The fruit bat is stretching their wing, looking upset and a little sad, as well as the child. They both have red hair. The fruit bat's body is dark brown. The child is wearing an orange jumper and dark green plants, yellow socks and light blue shoes. The colors are mostly muted red and browns, apart from the colorful bandaids which are light green, yellow, pink, red and blue.

Cottage life, with watercolors. I grew up in a mountain village in Greece, so such life is something I adore. In a few months my husband @jbqueru and I will be leaving the US after ~25 years, and go back to Greece. I intend to fix that house I grew up (currently in bad condition), so I can spend time there.
