We await the macOS release of #NoMansSky that was featured at WWDC 2022. (A forthcoming iOS version of the game was also mentioned by Apple at the event.)

Apple is expected to reveal its mixed-reality AR/VR goggles at WWDC 2023 on June 5.
Apple is putting a great deal of weight behind the AR/VR goggles as a big, new product line.
No Man's Sky on PC and PS5 is considered to be one of the best VR-capable titles out there.
Could the delay of the macOS version of NMS be due to Apple and Hello Games aligning it to be a huge, day 1 outing for Apple VR?

I finnaly come up with a nice and clean format, and will publish these docs when all of the job will be done.
For running cuteOS app bundles I've made a little program in #cpp called "cute-exec". That will parse the app.json file, locate the executable, and run it.
It'll be better in the future, with bundle scan and bundle verification support.

Extract to your games folder, a folder SIGIL will be created.
Copy your DOOM.WAD or DOOMU.WAD to SIGIL/drives/c/
Double click "dosbox.conf" and open it using "DOSBox Staging.exe" in Windows.
Double click "Start DOSBox from here.command" in macOS - if macOS complains, right-click, and select "Open".
A menu will show up where you can select OPL3 or General MIDI (AWE soundfont) as your music device.

Saw a boost from @jwz yesterday about Xscreensaver being broken on Ventura... and realized I hadn't seen a BSOD since upgrading.
Just checked System Preferences -> Screen Saver and got this, followed by a completely empty Screen Saver panel in prefs. I can't even pick one of the standard macOS savers, there's nothing there.
Does anyone know of a #macOS menu-bar app that'll let me control the sound INPUT? For some reason apple's only lets me control the OUTPUT.

Cleaning out the old feedback in Feedback Assistant app. Some of the feedback were still open from iOS 9 LOL. This one though, I would like to say I gave them the idea for… even though that’s probably not what happened haha.
@jorijn Hi. When viewing my timeline for this account in @MonaApp, I am missing all kinds of thumbnails/previews, like in the attached pic. Clicking on the affected post to display it separately forces the thumbnail to load. Is this because there is no one else in your instance following this account and I am the first one forcing the instance to load the thumbnail? I created another account on mastodon.social and it doesn’t seem to have the problem.
@jorijn@MonaApp For testing purposes, I have installed another #macOS Mastodon client (Mastonaut) and added my two accounts to it. I will leave it running and will compare between Mona and Mastonaut in real time to see if new thumbnails are missing in both or just in Mona.

I dunno how this happened, but a #MacOS Ventura Update installed last night and completely broke screen savers. #XScreensaver doesn't work, most of the stock screen savers don't work! The "Ventura" Screen Saver added in this release does work, so I'm assuming someone messed with the code and fricked it all up. Tagging @jwz in this since it does affect XScreenSaver
Almost a year ago, I decided to build a reference manager for #macOS. I was working on a project for which I needed to keep a large bibliography and couldn’t find any software for the task that suited me.
I also wanted an excuse to learn #Swift or #SwiftUI, neither one of which I knew. 😉
