This is how we get rapid scattered systemic collapse. We elect lawless people to positions which a large fraction of them believe to be the only legitimate law enforcement authorities and effectively above the law.
There are counties in #Michigan that I would be unsurprised to see openly reject the authority of state or federal law enforcement. https://infosec.exchange/@nathans/112434989146661808
I missed this story last week so maybe you did, too, but it’s important.
Democrat Chris Kleinjans won 60% of the vote in an Ottawa County Commissioner's seat recall in #Michigan, flipping a deep red county and signaling a strong rejection of MAGA extremism. Polls say one thing but the election results Democrats get keep saying something else.
#Students in the US are not just setting up #encampments to show solidarity with the #Palestinians but using their #graduation ceremonies to highlight the plight of the people of Palestine.

I’m sitting at our dining table this morning and I hear scratching at the sliding glass door. My dog, Jack, is snoring in his crate next to me. I look and a wild bunny is sitting on their hind legs pawing at my door! What is going on? #Michigan#rabbit#Nature
More photos taken around the Castle Museum of Saginaw County History, featuring the hallway, spiraling staircase, a model of a carousel, statue of Abraham Lincoln, an early 20th Century car, post office, and my favorite area: A reconstruction of the Myer Bros. Jewelry Store (1914-1974) which I believe is still the original cabinets, along with some photos of some wares. Shot in June 2023.
Really fortunate to see a 30 minute intense show before the clouds rolled in. I’ve never seen an aurora before but what struck me were the structures that were visible to the naked and the fact that it changed minute by minute. Very awe-inspiring. #michigan#nature#photography#aurora
