Kokosanka to albinotyczna pingwinka z ZOO w Gdańsku (zdjęcie ze strony ZOO).

A Tux to chyba wszystkim znana maskotka Linux-a. Rysunek Tuksa stworzył w 1996 r. Larry Ewing, korzystając z bezpłatnego programu graficznego GIMP. Gdybyście chcieli wiedzieć, bo to warunek publikacji jego wizerunku 😉

It is important to remember that we can learn a lot from the animal world. This dance move for one. It's called the penguin shake 'n' flap.

An essential life skill.

A video clip of a Humboldt Penguin shaking its head and flapping its wings. With a fair wind behind it and an open mind it could look a little like a dance. Two simple drawn figures stand either side and attempt to copy the move.

Warning! In order to find the following gif even remotely entertaining (or, indeed, comprehensible) you will probably need:

  1. Knowledge of a particular childhood song

  2. Understanding of the British summer picnic, with their combination of grumbling & determination

  3. To be familiar with a particular informal English word (I have no idea how common it is)

Basically this is a pretty awful niche joke & the funniest thing at the moment is me trying not to 'spoil' it with the 3 points above.

Photo based animation. Four sad looking teddy bears drop down in turn on to a blanket on a beach. Each moans about something as they drop in. The first holds a sandwich ("My sandwich is yukky. I don't like lettuce."). The second holds a shortbread biscuit ("This biscuit is wrong. I wanted a custard cream."). The third holds a banana ("My banana is too yellow. And bends too much."). The final one says "I've got sand in my pants. And not in a good way." Finally a picnic basket drops in along with the text "Because today's the day the teddy bears have their nitpick!"

A rock hopper penguin, with blue eyes, human grin, and anarchy symbol on its front, plays the drums in BA DUM TISH form. The front of the drum says RAWK hoppers. It is from a penguin band I made many years ago. Because that's a thing, in my world. Don't judge me.
