Oppose KOSA.

We do not need censorship. The bill aims to sanitize “inappropriate content,” which will be abused to target minority/vulnerable groups and their content.

Age-verification compromises privacy and security; it is mass surveillance and furthers needless data collection.

Model: Stephanie Branton

Photos: Josh Ryan

Playmate of the month: September 2014

Playmate Stephanie Branton is a vital natural resource. She may be a bottle blonde, but her hazel eyes, full lips and ample breasts are all hers, and as our latest Miss September, we’re pleased to call Miss Branton ours. “I grew up in Conception Bay, Newfoundland,” says Stephanie. “It’s a small Eastern Canadian town, on an island in the Atlantic. The people are friendly, the land is beautiful, but there aren’t many opportunities for models!” Stephanie packed her bags and made tracks for Los Angeles, California, where she scored a Playmate test at Studio West – and the rest, as they say, is history. “I’ve wanted to be a Playmate all my life,” gushes Stephanie. “Actually, it was my dad who inspired me. He had a subscription to Playboy, and I know that he admired Hugh Hefner. When I saw my first issue, I knew that I wanted to be a part of it – and it’s finally happening!” These days, Stephanie lives and loves in LA, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. “I love to go out with my girlfriends in Hollywood,” she says. “There’s so much to see and do. And of course, I love to spend Sundays at the Mansion!” A self-proclaimed Newfie, Steph comes from a long line of Canadian Playmates, and she’s excited to represent Canada as a Playboy Bunny stateside. “You know, Shannon Tweed is from Newfoundland,” she says. “Once the magazine comes out, people are gonna go crazy. My mom says I’m already a celebrity back home. I want to make everyone proud!” In the words of Jane Austen, a person may be proud without being vain, and our Miss September is as cool, calm and humble as they come. We wouldn't have her any other way.

When You add a SSL Cert to a server hosted behind CloudFlare you are obfuscating the fact that the connection IS NOT SECURE, it is by so they can harvest everything you are sending them, such as your credit card details...

Bottom line is, I do it for your protection and as a demonstration against those who gives a damn in my fundamental right to , and . Why should i have any concern for them❓> Or Bot Accounts

🔒 Privacy Pro Tip! 🔒

If, like me, you find yourself using apps that have a reputation for being a bit invasive (yes, TikTok, I'm looking at you!), here's a nifty trick to help protect your personal space even while you indulge in some entertaining content.

Consider installing these privacy-invading apps inside Android's "Work Profile." 📱 What's that, you ask? It's like having a secret sandbox where these apps can play, away from your personal data and sensitive information.

How to do it? Well, there's a cool open-source app called "Shelter" that can help you set up this sandboxed environment. It's like giving these apps their own little world to roam in, while your personal stuff stays safe and sound.

So, why not give it a whirl? Your privacy deserves a little extra love, and Shelter's got your back. 🛡️

Inside , The Tool That Lets ICE Monitor Pregnancy Tracking Sites and Fortnite Players

What a piece by @404mediaco

ShadowDragon: Feeding the mass surveillance machine by tracking people who play Fortnite (and probably, I guess, other popular online games), scraping images from BabyCenter (a site for expectant parents), and social media sites for the Black community, the bodybuilding community, and others.

ShadowDragon also has the capability to monitor/scrape information from hundreds of social media sites/games/websites. Who plays a game and expects to end up in an ICE database?

This is insane.

FTC Warns Tax Prep Companies Against Invasive

From @themarkup

Last year The Markup revealed that tax prep companies sent sensitive personal information/tax related info/financial info to without clear disclosure or expressed consent. This was primarily happening because of the Pixel, which collects data on websites that implement it - regardless if you have a Facebook/Meta company account.

Afterall, who files taxes and expects that information get sent straight to Facebook/Meta when using a tax prep software?
