One of the sub-themes in modern UK #jazz you may or may not have picked up on already is that the scene is built around a group of absolutely superb young drummers raised on #hiphop and #grime#jungle#breakbeat dance #music. Here Yussef Dayes pairs with keyboardist Kamaal Williams and others as Yussuf Kamaal for the album Black Focus. This album was massively influential within the small scene and fandom in a pretty short time.
