I did tell Summer it would be a rainbow kind of day. We saw this one when we went outside to run off some morning energy. Summer does love to run before breakfast. #Rainbow
I was vacuuming the stairs when I heard a yell from the kitchen. As I scrambled to get there as quick as I could, I saw my husband just standing at the window. It seems that the emergency was a rainbow.
Not to discount the excitement a full rainbow incites at our house. If there is something that needs to be seen to be enjoyed, we are all in.
I told Summer all of these little things combined make us happier. I think that is a fact but I'm not an expert in such things.
Maybe it only works for us. #Rainbow
Spreading happiness and good vibes with my handmade abstract watercolor painting of colorful circles in rainbow colors red, yellow, green, blue and pink dancing across the paper.
The coast...the outdoors has such a healing aspect on our minds and even goes deeper than that...to our very souls. Get outside if you can and imbibe the divine beauty of nature. Thank you for your interest in my work.
This is the part of knitting where I feel asymptotically close to finishing but there's still a lot to do. Need to knit and sew the pockets, weave in the ends, add buttons and block it but... Kiddo's rainbow sweater looks nearly done!
Yarn: Summer Dreams collection from Kitty Pride fibers
Pattern: heavily modified Flax by Tin Can Knits
Rainbow sweater has the first sleeve bound off, and I finished my free review copy of The Everlasting Road.
It took me a bit to get into this book but once I did it was so good: I particularly enjoyed the blending of game metaphors and indigenous mythic figures, while weaving through stories about grief and griefers and AI and love and loss. Although this is a series it felt standalone enough, but I do want to go get the first book out now!
