But in this day and age - though Mozilla's PPA might be safe - the PPA adding should not be generally encouraged.

This is in the opinion of many long term Linux veterans now too.

Most people conversed with about it (regular users) state things work as always 🤔 they don't even actually realize using snap.

That said - here on end there hasn't been issues with snaps (nor flatpaks that is) as of late. Those techniques have matured considerably.

Sandboxing is not a bad starting point in means of safety.

"Nightly" is an unstable branch to test up 'n' coming stuff in advance.

Easy installing / updating (and testing!) these Nightlies on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, etc.

Previously Mozilla shipped just .tar.bz2's to be extracted / run from there on -- not most optimal for everyone.

Please support free Firefox - Google's power over internet is getting problematic.
