It pains me that Mike Rowe (the star of "Dirty Jobs") has become a big oil-and-gas shill ("yay fossil fuels! Fossil Fuels are good!") and now is buddying up with the anti-vaxxer Presidential candidate-trying-to-leverage-the-family-name. 😢

The family used to be a big fan of Dirty Jobs. I cringe every time someone hits replay on those episodes here :-(

Isn’t FEMA’s job to direct disaster preparedness and recovery?

Wouldn’t disaster prevention fall under bodies such as USGS, CDC, EPA, the national weather service and such? They’re the ones who study disaster causing situations, predict and try to prevent them through policy.
