Caught this foxy friend taking a break among blooming wild leeks!
As the season brings new growth and renewal, it's a reminder of the endless wonders of nature. It's always a privilege to witness these moments of peace and tranquility in the wild..
Let's do our part to protect and preserve these precious ecosystems.
Up and out well before dawn. This American Alligator was hanging motionless in the perfectly still waters of a #Florida wetland. His head the only part that was above water made a perfect mirror reflection under the gray sky making a beautiful minimalist artwork piece for nature lovers.
Went for a walk, noticed a starling flying away from a hole in a tree, looked more closely, saw a starling chick!
I waited a few minutes hoping to film a parent feeding the chick – but then I got worried that my presence might be keeping the parents away, so I left.
(Side note: If baby ducks are known as ducklings, shouldn't young starlings be called starlinglings?)
As I passed through Campbellford, Ontario during a recent road trip, I stopped at Crowe's Bridge Rapids... though they don't look very rapid here. It was a nice and relaxing setting.
This is a gem of a museum with a genuine throwback to another age. I enjoy wandering through the exhibits admiring the vast collection of #skeletons from around the world.
A view high up in the John Muir Wilderness of a creek flowing toward the distant valley below where the 395 highway runs. I was camped not too far away and made a lucky decision to get up early for sunrise. #landscapephotography#naturephotography#waterfall#waterfallwednesday
