Last night I was up late playing Santa, i.e. wrapping all the presents for my kids. 4 kids for Christmas means a lot of wrapping. Me & my wife split the kids down the middle and, yea, pretty even in terms of number of gifts. So, that's good.

Have had weird, severe stomach pain since 1pm yesterday without it dissipating (or getting worse, at least.)
It feels like I pulled every muscle on my right side and back, combined with this gnawing/burning feeling. My pain tolerance is pretty high but I'm going to the doctor in case it's gallstones or appendicitis. Yay.

This was taken on our trip through Ontario one October. Steven was teaching his workshops in Ottawa so I got to explore the countryside. The weather was bright and the leaves reflected in the water had a rich golden tone. They almost looked like a mosaic. I feel warmer just looking at this and remembering how peaceful it all was.

I just spoke with a seagull friend of mine who visits daily across from my window. There are a few that visit me each day for the past 3 years or so, i've gotten pretty good at making seagull sounds (the short low ones, not the high loud ones they are most known for).
Sometimes i interject in English, 'Good morning Seagull!' and then speak in seagull again and they seem to like that, it lets them know i'm a human who also speaks bird.
Today i told the seagull it was Tuesday in case they were wondering, the seagull responded loudly and then we spent a few minutes talking in seagull again before they flew away and i returned to my coffee and browsing the fedi.
I think it's important to check in with our bird friends and occasionally let them know what day of the week it is. I've never seen a calendar for birds and even though they know so much, seeing all of us each day from above, we need to help them when it comes to filling in some of the gaps of things they don't pick up on.
Do your part if you can today, let a bird know it's Tuesday. They can let the others know so no one misses any appointments they have coming up today or later this week.
Very belated greeting this AM,dis Squirrel did not sleep at all well last night,so a caught a couple of zzzz s after brekkie & I’ve just finished cleaning the bathroom,it hasn’t been done as I’ve been unwell.

Rolled the credits. Finished #PlanetOfLana over the weekend 🎮 Such a great #Game. Available on #XboxGamePass. Highly recommend. Will be doing my review the next day or two 🙂
The morning with no coffee, water only, trust me, I'm not amused with this situation - its bloody cold and I need a cuppa to warm me up!

Will I get taken on time at the hospital?

Will I be a grumpy arse until I get coffee later on?
It's been a tranquil Tuesday evening. A nice walk around the lake in the 70°F temps is exactly what I needed. I hope all of you are having an equally awesome Tuesday!
