OK, the burnout has me. Started a couple days ago. I’m not 100% what triggered it, but I think it may have been assisted by the “therapy” experience last Friday. Regardless, I can feel a discord between my brain and body. I’m up today and feel rested but my brain is stuck.
So switching gears to #quiet today. Staying home. Light work duty. Maybe a nap. Let’s see if we can ease ourselves into a #reset. If I had a #hottub, I’d be in it now.
On the bay, they were far enough away from the city to escape the noise and bustle, but close enough to watch its endless activity. It was a good perspective, one that allowed them to observe without being distracted.
There's a full-electric coffee van at hockey. No generator noise and fumes. I am a fan. We can see the ocean from this ground and it's bright sunshine, bit fresh though. #CoffeeVan#Quiet#OceanView#Freo
We don't always have to be in the thick of things, in the midst of all the action. Sometimes, many times, it's good to step far enough away that you get a different perspective.
