One parent, I've never heard from since. I rarely talk to the other. And yet, things still went better than expected. I was bracing myself for even worse.
I think about how terrified I was that day, and I feel so proud of overcoming that fear. And then I see who I've become today, and how far I've come to get here, and I feel even more proud.
I now know joy and contentment in my life that I never knew before, and it's so worth the price of being rejected for coming out as #trans. I would go through it again in a heartbeat 💗
