Confession: I kinda miss xhtml and xml and really wish browser vendors added support for esm modules in xml and xhtml (and custom elements in xml). If not just for easier interop between SVG and regular HTML.

Finally, finally the #NHS has a #workforce plan which involves a doubling of the training places for #Doctors & #nurses.

This is (perhaps) a decade late, but welcome nonetheless. However, now the Q. is how to retain them once they've been trained?

Here's an idea:
listen to the #strikers & pay NHS staff properly!

as has been demonstrated conclusively by the #Tories defunding of the #healthservice, you cannot have a world class #publichealth system on the cheap.

the putin gang doesn't care about public image internationally. why would they? they loathe illiterate, grinning fools, which is pretty much how they perceive usians, and european leaders are dependent on them for a lot of stuff, like metals and energy

I honestly can't tell if this BG3 subquest is bugged or just requires passing a skill test I silently failed or requires clicking on the right pixel or what.

There's a treasure chest that zaps anyone that touches it, and a prayer written that disarms it... but I don't see any way to chant the prayer. I just... know it and was told to say it, but there is no UI option for "fucking do the plot thing".
