Why did you feel compelled to respond with what you did? Did you feel as though I was undermining you personally, allies that actually helped in the day, or are you afraid of being lumped in neo-libs who took up liberalism to protect their own assets from facism?
I took huge offense being immediately lumped as a fascist bot troll, got defensive and now this.

Please add alt-text to your photos/pictures it only takes a minute and does not have to be fancy. My policy is not to boost images without alt-text and I am not the only one.
This is one of the cultural things I like about Mastodon, the inclusiveness. Please don't ruin it.
@SuitedUpDev@Dianora I've found this page from Perkins School for the Blind has some good basic tips. The graphic at the bottom lives rent free in my head.
@Dianora Adding my voice to this. Until late last year, I was effectively blind due to cataracts. I couldn't really see the images too well, but Alt-Text made them accessible to me. Anything accessible to the disabled is automatically accessible to the abled, so PLEASE use Alt-Text so we visually disabled people can enjoy the pictures TOO!
