A European spacecraft has revealed the secrets of a star system that has puzzled researchers for years.
The rare six sextuplet of planets was found thanks to data collected by Cheops — the CHaracterising ExOPlanets Satellite.
Cheops is a European Space Agency (ESA) mission to study known exoplanets, which are any planets beyond our solar system. Its latest discovery emerged from confusion surrounding a star called HD110067.

50 years ago, I thought that if we could just stop making wars, cold or otherwise, we would be alright.
40 years ago, I thought science would see us through any challenges we would face.
30 years ago, I thought it was all about making a cleaner planet.
20 years ago, I worried that the rise of fundamentalism and our response to perceived threats would be our downfall.
For the past decade l, have realized that a clean but overheated planet would still yield disastrous results.
And now, back to wars, fundamentalism, anti-science/anti-social tendencies…and a wee bit of disaster ever present.
