Scientists find huge planet that shouldn’t exist.

The Independent reports: "The planet appears to be too big for its sun, and therefore calls into question our understanding of how planets and solar systems form."

A European spacecraft has revealed the secrets of a star system that has puzzled researchers for years.

The rare six sextuplet of planets was found thanks to data collected by Cheops — the CHaracterising ExOPlanets Satellite.

Cheops is a European Space Agency (ESA) mission to study known exoplanets, which are any planets beyond our solar system. Its latest discovery emerged from confusion surrounding a star called HD110067.

I am Dutch and I am ashamed of the Dutch election results. I will continue to work for migrants in our country to feel at home and to help them learn the language. Loving interaction with people, animals and care for our planet is the solution!

Celebrating and relieved all went well in the high-risk pregnancy…and wondering what I can fight/change to make a better world for him (and his sister).

50 years ago, I thought that if we could just stop making wars, cold or otherwise, we would be alright.

40 years ago, I thought science would see us through any challenges we would face.

30 years ago, I thought it was all about making a cleaner planet.

20 years ago, I worried that the rise of fundamentalism and our response to perceived threats would be our downfall.

For the past decade l, have realized that a clean but overheated planet would still yield disastrous results.

And now, back to wars, fundamentalism, anti-science/anti-social tendencies…and a wee bit of disaster ever present.
