Now that the polar cold wave is descending upon the U.S., it is time to pull up this xkcd webcomic by Randall Munroe from Jan 2014 and show it to the climate change deniers who will soon be pointing to snowballs and braying "what global warming?"

Having seen some of these behemoths on US city streets, it is hard to disagree with this sentiment
Yes, I am also a distance runner who runs on back roads, which gives me a slight bias against cars, but I also commute by car and occasionally cycle so think I have a fairly moderate view
I remember a webcomic, perhaps #XKCD, that did a chart of how early Christmas decorations started to appear in shops each year over like 50 years or so (ever earlier, basically), and then extrapolated from that data to show that "Christmas in July" happens around <some specific future year>.
Can't for the life of me find it.
