Victoria Law offers a deeply chilling report about what has been done to Kwaneta Harris, an incarcerated Texas woman with a nursing background. A young guard in his 20s overheard her providing abortion information to fellow inmates and threatened her, saying that she was violating Texas anti-abortion law and could have new criminal charges against her. She has since been placed in an isolated cell far from other inmates.

People think "Free Speech" means you can say anything without consequences.
This is very very far from the truth. Even if you say something that does fall into #freespeech you are not exempt from the liability or repercussions to that speech.
Yell "Fire" in a movie theater and see how long you spend in jail and how many civil suits for personal body harm you have to fight (and loose) in court.
I know it's a privilege to be able to quit Twitter, but if you can, you absolutely should. Once a platform legitimizes people calling for mass murder of groups, you know it's gone. Anti-fascism is the correct position to hold. Hate speech isn't free speech.
While it is known to everyone that Russia has jailed people who are against the Russia/Ukraine war, it is less known that the U.S. has accused people of being foreign agents who are also against the war on the other side. We may see anti-war people in the US jailed soon. It's all fun and games until it happens here too. See the Uhuru movement.
The federal minimum wage hasn't gone up since 2009. But the price to create free content on Twitter—and have any hope people will see it—now equals +/- $100 a year.
Any hope that Twitter would become a level-playing field under Elon Musk have now been exploded. Only those who pay for Twitter Blue, or who get it free because they have 1M+ real or fake followers—or those Musk verifies on a whim—now get prioritized on the platform.
