My first harvest of green (yellow and purple) beans! So happy with how these turned out. I'm growing a lot this year and it's always exciting when things work out and you actually get to harvest something in the end. I used seeds from two local places, Hudson Valley Seed Co and Fruition Seeds. Gonna start another planting so that I hopefully have enough to freeze and be able to enjoy them even during the winter.

Next door neighbor was out back in the shed and I asked him what he was about to do. He said he was going to do the weed eating, so I told him I'd mow since I needed to mow all four yards any way. Especially ours since I have family coming over for July 4th.
Wife helped and it only took us just over an hour or so to do all 4 yards, weed eat, trimming and blowing everything off.
I'm looking forward to seeing #UNC's plan for offsetting the #carbon and #water impacts of temporarily converting an entire football(1) field of artificial turf to #grass and back again for a single football(2) friendly, in the hottest part of the summer(3).
