I did not realize how easy it was to collectively fight medical debt. Just learned about this initiative in Philly that raised over $17.000 and erased 1.6 MILLION in medical debt for the community. Let's do this in our own communities!

A group of Philadelphians erased $1.6 million in local medical debt. They celebrated with an unofficial debt burning.

A 3rd person is suing the Department over a false arrest caused by the use of technology. arrested Porcha Woodruff, a 32yo Black woman, for robbery & carjacking based off a facial recognition hit from surveillance footage. But Woodruff didn't do it, and charges against her were eventually dismissed for lack of evidence. Critics say this is more proof the technology is flawed, racially biased, and dangerous.

Some pics of the Kirtland's Warbler I saw in downtown Detroit yesterday, about 1/2 hour before the rain showers started.

Lots of birders are wondering why this rare bird has been in the same location for 14 days.
