👥 What I have to say about #today? Thank whatever powers there be for good friends who show up with large bottles of Tanqueray and encourage hours of ranting when you're at the end of your mental string.

Happiness is a bike ride on a gorgeous Friday afternoon. There are many challenges to being self employed, but the flexibility and time freedom of taking advantage of opportunities like this are worth the trade off.
Had a nice grilled-cheese sandwich for lunch after an arm-destroying tree trimming session. Could barely lift my arms to make the sandwiches. Tree looks good now though. It's an ongoing 'lollipop' treatment.
Feels like the aftermath of a good day's rock climbing in years gone by. Those were the days!
I intended to swap out the winter tires on the car today but that's not happening. Ha!

Seriously, we should have a Mastodon Fediverse instance show and tell I'd love to see the hardware that runs some of the larger (and smaller) instances.
Good morning, TGIF! How's everyone today? I worked 4 days this week, but it felt like 6. After taking off Wednesday, I worked 11 hours on Thursday to fix everything. I'm ready for the weekend! We have a nephew's birthday Saturday, that's about it though.

This week has been...weird. Between unnerving doctor's appointments (I have another today), busy evenings with the kids, a call from the school about my oldest getting hit with a tennis racket, and my oldest's birthday tomorrow - this week has been...odd.
Oh, on the tennis racket - my oldest tried to break up an altercation and accidentally got smacked with a tennis racket in the process.
So, it's been a week.
Tonight into tomorrow is my oldest's birthday party. So - bonus kids all night / into tomorrow.

Found old pliers on the road. I almost never return home from a walk empty handed.
Cleaned dog's diarrhea.
Checked the garden and dropped some anti-snail pellets.
