If I simultaneously run a local build on my machine (which happens to be a Linux box) and run the game within the Unity editor, I can create a host in one and a client in the other. They play together happily.
I also made a MacOS build and downloaded it on a separate machine. I can run the game there and create a host.
Strangely, if I then try to create a client from the other machine (either the local Linux build or within the editor), I get this message:
This only happens if there is an instance running on the Mac!
Of course, the only time you would want to create a client is if there is another instance (a host) running. It's as if the game running on the Mac and the one running in the Unity editor think they're the same program, and therefore refuse to make a "second" network connection.

Bidrag går direkte til indkøb af biler, reparationer og diesel. Alle arbejder frivilligt. Der står chauffører i kø, så flere bidrag betyder flere biler afsted, og mere nødhjælp til dem der har mest brug for det.

The #OMN instances are based on the history of "offline" activism. #Activism is the crusty protest camp and #campaign, a #NGO office. #OMN value is that we "bridge" the two and keep this bridge in place
So protest camps have their share of "nutter" mess and the #NGO offices have the power politics mess. Let's try and get the two to compost this messy aproch to social change and challenge.

The #APconf event is lacking focus and energy from our "cats" so we will likely have a #fedifourm I talked to these guys during the last event, they are new 'native" from the #twittermigration that
bring the "normal" power politics with them.
An event that pushes liberal #NGO agendas is fine as a part of a balance.
Though we have our "native" libertarian cats so the balance will be a challenge that we need to work on #socialhub
As we go #mainstreaming, there will be increasingly bad behaver from our more #NGO grassroots crew in our organising spaces, this is the normal self-destructive nature of this path.
By decentralizing at its core, it is important to not do the obvious #NGO thing and centralize round one codebase and one instances, this is so obviously a stupid thing to do for the #Fediverse and the #openweb, but as you say it's a good thing to do for #mainstreaming so let's talk balance BEFORE you push this out as damage.
