Today I learned that LEGO has a program where you can send them your old LEGO (bricks, pieces, mini-figs, etc). LEGO will then take them in, wash / sterilize them, and donate them to children in need!
I honestly do not understand why lato-lato (clackers) is viral here in #ASEAN.

I mean, I'm thankful the younger generations are playing our old games and toys. But at the same time, I'm curious how it was re-discovered and how the new craze started.
I designed a printable 3D model of the kids' beds from Bluey! This was super fun and rewarding as my preschooler has a bunch of the Bluey character figures and wanted to make their bedroom. I used stills from the show as reference, but proportioned it to fit the figures nicely.
The theme for #PhotoJanuary2024 today is TRIP. I have interpreted that as a nostalgic trip through time, as demonstrated by this alarm clock representing one of the favourite toys of my youth.
The original toy was also the reason for a very dramatic childhood trip, down some stairs, smashing some decorative items on the way.
These Lego sets from the 1970s were part of my 2023 Christmas present haul. I'm struck by the timeless design of these toys; despite being 50 years old, these were just as fun to put together as any modern set that I'm more used to seeing. They may be more simplistic in design, but the joy of building still shines through!
#QuestionOfTheDay what's a concept (for a story, a show, a product, a song, a toy, whatever you want) that sounds mid on paper but actually is great in practice?
Don't deliberately try to make something great sound mid, it has to be something that legitimately would sound mid to somebody being told about it who has never seen/experienced it.
Bonus points if you explain why it "works" in practice better than on paper
