🧵 Going to start a little thread of games I'm looking forward to this year that are ALLEDGEDLY going to be playable in some state (including early access/alpha). I typically go for #sandbox#survival and #mmorpg#EarlyAccess Maybe I'll be able to revisit this later and see which ones actually came out or that I was able to try!
Ps. I think it’s more fun with the NASA like theme ”for the common good”. Not with this modern private space with it’s narcissistic shit-for-brains know-it-all hype-men in charge.
Sure, they wasted money and were inefficient, but they required a bit of humility because that was the taxpayer’s money!
I wouldn't recommend it at the moment, but maybe the game is totally for you? I spent two hours with it and tried my hand at editing it down to something more watchable.
As someone that frequently plays #EarlyAccess games; I get very annoyed that game companies bury their server status notes inside of a Discord. And I use Discord daily! Surely the technology exists, though, for you to give an engineer the permissions to update a small page on your existing website with some text.
You could even get fancy and make a web hook or something that posts it also in Discord or other social media channels.
Text on a web page seems like the minimum usable thing here.
