Social media gives the mistaken impression that we "know" a lot of people, but to truly know someone -- their depth, richness, personality, and character -- requires spending actual time with them in a time and space of reality.
When we do, we may find that we like some people more than we thought we would.
When we focus on doing something we enjoy -- putting our mental and physical energy to its success, concentrating our intellect upon it -- we derive enjoyment and satisfaction from the process.
It doesn't matter what it is -- it's gratifying. Which means . . . it's not a bad idea to do this more.
On the slim chance this helps someone avoid being ripped off: I recently bought an icom IC-M25 VHF radio off ebay. It worked fine when I got it but I had doubts about its authenticity. The security hologram didn't match the description, and the immersion sensor pad was not connected to the PCB.
I posted the fake for a refund and paid an extra $50 for another one from a more reputable seller. The hologram sticker on the new one matched the description.
