The one takeaway I got from the was that the GPU component of the A17 has hardware accelerated ray tracing. To me, this made every other announcement pale in comparison. This potentially means an upcoming AppleTV that can handle AAA console-style games, and maybe an Apple Silicon iMac that could run Unreal Engine 5 with Lumen. Maybe even actual 3d acceleration support in Blender…

But I can’t see anyone else talking about it, at all!

Am I reading too much into this?
