The UK Home Office will reportedly launch a surprise operation to detain asylum seekers across the UK tomorrow in preparation for their deportation to Rwanda, weeks earlier than expected and timed to coincide with council elections in England.

Setting the police on scared, vulnerable people in a pathetic, desperate attempt to solicit votes from their racist base. Utterly detestable.

    Slightly off-topic, but when #JeremyHunt states that "according to the #IMF, the #UK is predicted to have the highest GDP growth rate of #G7 countries", don't believe him.
    Go and look at the IMF's World Economic Outlook (April 2024).
    It shows that UK growth is 6th out of 7 in 2024 and joint 3rd out of 7 in 2025.
