I get a surprising amount of grief from friends and family for not letting people post photos of my kid on social media. I'm actually surprised, because it seems like kind of a common-sense thing to me.
Like she's welcome to sign up for her own account when she's old enough and understands the risks, but it seems extremely selfish of me to basically enroll my kid in the giant data collection machine without her consent.

I was at a film festival tonight and mid-screening I see my phone light up. The 6yo shares my Spotify account, and apparently tried to play some music, but it went to my phone instead of his iPad. Thank God I had the volume all the way down!

We did the #DrSeussExperience in #TysonsCorner today. The kids loved it! My wife and I expected a bit more (premium priced!) but I’m glad that both kiddos had a good time. The staff was very friendly and serviceable. They were always ready to snap family pictures pictures on your behalf. Overall rating: 7/10
Apparently my coworker’s 6 year old is convinced I attract fairies.
We have never met but she already likes me bc there was a twinkly light near me in a video once & she believes that is a fairy and that i attract them.
