The #ActivityPub plugin for #Wordpress is an absolute game changer when it comes to reader engagement. I published a #blog post yesterday and it already has 8 comments and 7 of them are from #Fediverse. The total number of comments is actually much higher, the plugin doesn't handle reactions to comments yet.
Meanwhile the blogpost has received 4 views from #LinkedIn and 2 from #Facebook.
My lovely wife is looking for her first job as #ux and #ui#designer and I would deeply appreciate a boost (here or on #LinkedIn) if you know someone who might be interested in hiring her.
I switched industries a couple years ago and it's tough to find your first job without any proper experience, took me 5 months. Maybe it will be faster for her. 🙂

Any advice on dealing with a bogus trademark infringement claim sent to Google?
Someone told Google that my "LInkedIn Jobs Filterer" Chrome extension violates LinkedIn's trademark. It doesn't. What can I do about it, when I can't afford to pay lawyers to defend a free, open-source extension? (See the linked blog posting for more details.)
I've always been interested in technology & design ever since my teen years, so having the opportunity to work for a company in that field would be an honor.
Since I have an official autism diagnosis under my belt, I'm willing to work through obtaining any necessary accommodations with future bosses & managers to ensure that I can be a highly productive employee.

I see more and more people on LinkedIn answering that "You’re one of a few experts invited to add to this collaborative article: [insert AI prompt here]" and find it sad for a couple of reasons: first, you’re not one of a few; second, you’re feeding a machine in a gated platform. Write on your #blog instead?

Die Browserfunktion"Do Not Track" ist rechtlich nicht irrelevant. Das hat das Landgericht Berlin bestätigt. Folge leisten muss man ihr aber trotzdem nicht.
So I don’t go on LinkedIn a lot. But I happened to be on there recently and saw a thing in my inbox. My friend’s son, who’d done my website, had sent a request for a recommendation. I wrote something immediately. (I get things done!) Got this back.
In case you’re in any doubt that #LinkedIn is THE WORST, I just saw a heavily applauded post with 11 pages of email-writing tips, including about 50 different lines to start and finish emails, and a whole page of translations of direct statements/requests into indirect ones…
From the bottom of my #autistic heart, never stop fucking off with that.
